  • CIO Report
    • The CIOs are looking for a high-level migration plan, without having a stable target. The aim is to align the RU platforms (GCU, Raildata and GCU).  They are looking at how to integrate the GCU and their members.  The CIOs will try to assure more participation in the Architecture team. The same is true for the CIO participation.
    • By the end of the year, they are looking for a proposal of the target architecture and governance.  beginning 2021, this will be addressed.  
    • A migration plan needs to be worked out amongst the CIOs by the end of the year.  Next year, will look at the mandate for implementation after the workplan has been refined.  
    • Capabilities and Services will be discussed next week by the CIOs.  Will also raise the involvement of the CIOs and Architects. 
  • Migration
    • methodology was presented with the 5 different strategies:  Green Field, Migrate, Buy-in, Hub and Combination of all.
      • Must look at migration paths based on capabilities...  Could group the migration by the process groups (domains)
      • Coud also define migration paths by the levels in the pyramid
      • Look at coverage of the data 
      • Look at data quality issues
  • Review for next Sprint (Tasks)
    • Review the Framework services (Sprint 8)  Basic functionality is needed in order to achieve the objectives - 5 modules were determined to support the services.  Channels, Licensing, Quality, Identity and Content.  All have been described and summarised. , 
    • Review the Capabilities within the Framework
    • Review the documentation requirements.  The documentation will be on three levels:  Executive summary, spreadsheets for capabilities and limitations and the UML. 
  • Next Iteration
    • Review both Sprint 7 and Sprint 8 output by 12th October in order to close the work.  The Sprint ends on 14th October.
    • Next meeting will be on 15th October.
