Description
The service routes the best (shortest, economical, avoid congestion, fastest) way for a specific transport.
Use Case
The RU provides a set of locations, with or without timing information, and the service calculates
- possible routes through the given locations and
- (if timings ar provided) a rough timetable
He also provides information about the necessary train characteristic (min speed, profile, max weight, max length, security and communication equipment) to use the route.
Route check
The RU provides a route (= set of locations and possible timing) and the service checks whether
- the route is complete in terms of passed locations and used legs
- the timing is feasible
